Hey Lindsey,
I am consistently ready your blog and keeping up with Santana’s progress…as well as your frustrations. My heart goes out to you always!! I hate to bother you via internet, but have lost your phone number. I was wondering if you still have the kid car in your garage? We have another family that could really use it and I was hoping you’re still hangin’ on to it. Please let me know whenever it is convenient for you.
You can email or call (480-926-6125) anytime.
My thoughts and prayers are always with you!!

Hello!
I found your blog through Pam and Makenzie’s website. I live in Tucson and we’ve been living in the PICU for 2 1/2 weeks after my 11 month old’s near drowning. From your early blogs, it sounds like they are so similar! We will be in Phoenix soon at Hacienda Transitional Facility for about 30 days before we can take Christian home. I would love to meet up when we’re there.
Santana is beautiful and I’m praying for your family!

Dear Lindsey, your blog was just brought to my attention by my best friend Linda. Her son Justin play ball with your older son I believe. When my 7 yr old daughter was 11 days old a virus attacked her heart and we almost lost her. We spent a month in ICU. A miracle happened and Ryan is strong and healthy but will have to be on heart meds the rest of her life and she will have some physical restrictions. Ready your blog has brought me to tears. Santana is absolutely beautiful. What an angel. I am located in Ahwatukee. If you ever need anything please don’t hestitate to contact me. I am emailing you shortly with all my contact info. I know during that horrible Christmas with Ryan (it happened on xmas eve) I could barely breathe. I can’t imagine what you are still going thru. From one mommy to another hang in there. You are an amazingly strong woman. Santana is lucky to have such an angel to care for him. GOD BLESS you sweetie!! Nicki R

Lindsey, I would love to buy a t-shirt to help with Santana’s therapy expenses. Just let me know how to get the money to you. I wish I could contribute more at this time. I have been keeping up with Santana for a couple of years now and am amazed at his progress. You also amaze me!!! You have a wonderful family I can tell just by reading your words. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and work with children with special needs in an early childhood program in St. Louis, MO. I just love it! My students mean everything to me. They are a big part of my life. Hope I can talk with you again soon. Don’t stop believin’. Kim

first off, high-five, Santana! keep fighting the good fight! Secondly, the care you are providing for your little boy is nothing short of inspiring!
I read a few posts about Santanas’ treatment and therapy sessions, I wanted to ask you if you have tried hyperbaric oxygen chambers as another treatment? I read about a little boy who was diagnosed with an unknown brain disease and he did HOC treatments, he improved in function after only a few treaments! It might be something to consider. Keep up the amazing job! -N.Ramos.
